In the Ocotlán Valley, in the state of Oaxaca, lies a priceless treasure that has been neglected for too long: the soil.
Once fertile, it now lies worn out, a victim of the deforestation that has ravaged the region. .
But in the midst of this desolation, there is a spark of hope that shines like a ray of sunshine through the clouds.
Over the last 20 years we have successfully achieved our reforestations, forming micro-forests that have native biodiversity and that little by little are building a biological corridor in the Ocotlán Valley.
AuA
This is the program with which you can
contribute to our annual reforestation.
Adopt a three.from wherever
you are and visit it in San Martín
Tilcajete, Oaxaca.
This year, with your support, we will reach our goal of
12,000
trees
In order to carry-out the reforestation, many resources and great collective work is invested.
Your donation helps us support this project that will benefit both the person and the community.
Let’s rewater the soil with
environmental awareness.
What do you contribute?
Your adoption donation includes:
A healthy Copal tree (Bursera glabrifolia) that
can adapt to the climate and biological factors
of the environment.
PHASE 1
18 months of care in our nurseries
Vegetative
material
Rooting

Germination

Substrate
PHASE 2
3 years of care once planted.
The estimated time period for a tree to adapt to environmental change, at the end of the
After this period it can be protected and anchored by the development of its roots.
Watering: A new plant in a different climate needs 288 L of water per year.
Organic Fertilization: We increase soil nutrients by mulching and organic substrate of worm compost and leachate.
Weeding: Consists of removing unwanted plants, known as weeds, from the tree bed and tree contour.
Pruning: We make cuts to the plant to favor its development in volume and size.
What does the Jacobo
and Maria Angeles workshop provide?
LAND
Equivalent to 2.63 hectares
Where we guarantee that the trees
will be cared for and respected.
MAP AND REGISTRY
To show the results of the reforestation and the
evidence that your adopted tree was planted
correctly, we made a detailed map of the
reforested space with coordinates.
WORK TEAM
- Foresters who design and execute the
reforestation. - Farmers and peasants with years of experience
in reforestation. - Heavy machinery: backhoe, tractor and water
pipe.
MICRO-FOREST DESIGN
The reforested space is designed by plant strata to maximize the number of trees per hectare, allowing each tree to have enough space to grow healthily.

We are committed to transparency, to presenting measurable results and to continuing to refine our model.
